Lovis Corinth (German, 1858-1925) Bäume mit Sonne (Winter in Tiergarten), 1920-21, edition of 100 (Müller, 478). Signed "Lovis Corinth" in pencil l.r., inscribed "probedruck zustand No. 1" in pencil l.l., annotated and dated "...1921" in pencil l.c. Drypoint on heavy paper, plate size 9 3/4 x 11 5/8 in. (24.6 x 29.4 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 inch or more with deckled edges. The sheet measures 11 3/4 x 15 3/4 inches, and is a pale oatmeal color. There is a fox mark to the lower margin. Old hinges are at the upper corners on the reverse.
