Richard Ansdell (British, 1815-1885) Setters at Work Signed and dated "R. Ansdell 1865" l.c., identified on a presentation plaque, and with a label from N.R. Omell, London, on the stretcher. Oil on canvas, 25 x 30 in. (63.5 x 76.0 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, scattered retouch, fine craquelure. Mostly scattered dots and dashes of retouch, with the largest area of retouch above the foreground setter's head spanning approx. 1 x 2 inches at the extreme height and width. Craquelure throughout.
