Aaron Siskind (American, 1903-1991) Rome: Arch of Constantine 4, 1967. Signed "Aaron Siskind" in pencil (on the mount) l.r., titled and dated in pencil (on the mount) l.l. Gelatin silver print, image size 17 1/2 x 13 in. (44.4 x 33.0 cm), framed. Condition: Several minute rubs/imperfections to edges, not examined out of frame. Out of the frame the facing mat is glued down to the mount. There is a thin 1 inch rub to the image, both c.r. and u.c., plus several minute additional rubs. PROVENANCE: A private Rhode Island collection.
