George III Silver Saucepan, London, 1804, John Emes, maker, ovoid body, with turned fruitwood handle set at right angle to the short spout, with lid with hinged spout cover and turned ivory finial, body and lid engraved with small crest, ht. to top of lid 4 1/2 in., approx. 9.8 troy oz. small ding to tip of spout cover. shrinkage cracks and small burn mark to handle. marks good. minor age wear and light surface scratching.
