Sterling Waiter, 1875-91, square with rounded corners, rim chased and embossed with stylized leaves and flowerheads, monogrammed to center, on low scroll, palmette, and acanthus feet, wd. 10 1/8 in., approx. 24 troy oz. minor surface scratching, and approx. 2 very light, unobstrusive pinpoints. underside engraved with presentation inscription dated 1881. possibly lacquered.
