French Gilt-metal Box, 19th century, casket-shaped with all-over repousse decoration of putti at various pursuits, with hinged lid, base marked "A. B. Paris 1430," 3 1/2 x 12 x 5 5/8 in. Scattered metal fatigue, repairs, dents, and verdigris patina. Element missing from front panel.
