Sevres Porcelain, Champleve, and Yellow Metal-mounted Vase and Cover, France, 19th century, the peaked lid with pineapple finial, urn form body with central hand-painted scene of a courting couple, signed "Velly," with a landscape on the reverse, on a square base with canted corners, ht. 15 3/4 in. Lid of lid dented and out of round, champleve with loss to enamel, handpainted scenes with numerous scratches.
