Elkington & Co. Silver-plated Tazza Centerpiece, Birmingham, England, c. 1876, the shallow cut glass bowl supported by a basket of woven fronds atop entwined fruiting grape vines emerging from a substantial tripod base bearing three cartouches with worn engraving, on C-scroll feet, base with manufacturer and date marks and stamped "3363," ht. 20 1/4 in. Good general condition, small unobtrusive areas of metal fatigue and repairs, particularly along rim of basket (two repairs and one break).
