Louis XVI-style Mahogany and Brass-mounted Convertible Writing/Games Table, early 20th century, rectangular, with one long sham drawer flanked by short drawers, on square-section fluted legs, the top with calf writing surface recto, green felt playing surface verso, and exposing interior backgammon board, sold with a group of gaming markers and chess pieces, ht. 29 1/4, wd. 48 3/4, dp. 27 1/2 in. a few strips of brass banding, and a drawer pull off, but present. minor edge nicks and usage wear. some finish inconsistency and sunning. overall age typical wear, including wear to playing surfaces. calf surface possibly replaced.
