Continental Silver Tower-form Besamin Box Spice Container, likely Germany, mid 19th century, turret topped by large pennant with lightly stippled monogram, with rectangular body with filigree panels to all four sides, and with smaller pennants at upper corners, on cylindrical stem and domed foot, ht. 8 in., approx. 2.2 troy oz. possible old resolder at join of small pennants to top of body, with edge wear to top of body. scattered light dings at finial, stem, and footrim. unmarked.
