Chinese carved bamboo cylindrical brush pot with five figures in an exterior with building to left of large leaved tree. Opposite side of vessel with three stacked medallions of different shapes and with different subjects--top with peacock, middle with bearded man, bottom with two spotted deer. Three medallions flanked by two cartouches with large phoenix birds. Brush pot with hand crafted copper metal insert. Unmarked. Height 7.25", diameter of top 5.1".
