Brass Surveyor's Transit by Stanley, London, 19th century, signed on horizontal plate Stanley London 97183 , with silvered vernier and enclosed chamfered silvered scale, dual magnifiers and bubble levels, the 12-in. telescope with bubble level, rack focusing, sun shade, dust slide, raised on a U-shaped frame marked Willesden District Council , 6 3/4-in. vertical circle having silvered scale divided in four quadrants, dual magnifiers, tripod attachment, three adjustable screw feet, with a wood tripod. Optics appear to be in good overall condition with some dust on eyepiece.
