Two American Sterling Silver Punch Ladles, a Gorham H29 pattern, with a Bacchus head to terminal, grape- and ribband-hung handle with vacant medallion and acanthus leaves, the back with further grapes, musical instruments, ram's head, and lobed gold-washed bowl, lg. 17, approx. 13 troy oz.; the other Reed & Barton Francis I pattern, the terminal with a branch of pomegranates centering scrolling acanthus leaves, lg. 15 1/2 in., approx. 7.3 troy oz. Gorham: Light surface abrasions to bowl. Rubbing to gold-wash on back of bowl where it would rub against punch bowl. Reed & Barton: Surface abrasions to bowl. Back of handle with several small nicks.
