Three American Patriotic Transfer-decorated Staffordshire Pottery Items, England, early 19th century, a pearlware tea bowl with matching saucer decorated in green depicting the "Eagle Riding on a Shell" pattern by R. Hall & Son; and a pearlware cup plate with black transfer chinoiserie-style decoration with an eagle mounted on an urn, with blue transfer foliate border with blue overglaze the center enhanced with polychrome enamel, ht. 2 1/4, dia. 3 7/8 to 5 3/4 in. All in very good condition.
