George III style chippendale mahogany stand with ornate and delicate pierced gallery at top with floral and arabesques as well as matching pierced ornamentation with same motif on legs and X form stretcher. Height 28.2" x 11" square. Provenance: Sotheby's New York: English Country House, April 16, 1998 as Lot 852 whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
