MacIvor Reddie (American, 1864-1931) Schooner and Buoy Signed faintly "MAC IVOR Reddie" l. l. Oil on canvas, 16 1/8 x 20 1/8 in. (41.0 x 51.0 cm), framed. Condition: Scattered retouch, craquelure, surface grime. Provenance: Samuel T. Freeman & Co., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Lehman Brothers Collection, Part II, February 19, 2010, Sale 1360, Lot 78, (as American School). Signature is very faint and is more easily seen under UV light, however it does not fluoresce. Strip lined to reinforce tacking edges.
