(97.4 x 206.8 cm), framed. Condition: Soft crease to lower edge at left corner, grouping of small surface nicks to sheet plus two soft creases to margin in the lower right corner. N.B. From 1986 to 1988 Lichtenstein created a series of works known collectively as the Imperfect Series . Each work in the series features tangram-like geometric shapes in which at least one element projects outside of the regular frame of the composition. To create the saturated color that the artist desired, the colors were overprinted, and even the Mylar collage elements have a clear coat overprint to maintain the reflective qualities of these portions.
