George III Mahogany Bedside Cupboard, England, c. 1780, the rectangular top with scrolled gallery over tambour door, on square tapered legs ending in spade feet, ht. 30, wd. 14, dp. 12 in. Provenance: Purchased at Charles Lumb & Sons Ltd., Harrogate, 1999. Abrasions consistent with usage to top and interior surfaces as well as scattered marks to legs. Areas of staining to top and interior surfaces. One leg with a small crack and repair. Four inch horizontal crack to one side. Tambour door in closes only two thirds of the way.
