Aneroid Wall Barometer, France, 19th century, upper section with mercury thermometer in shaped case, above a circular dial with three hands on a painted ground labeled "L'Jug & Chevallier" to bottom, surrounded throughout by gilt-decorated floral and ribbon garlands with upper and lower columnar motifs, label to back "Le Couturier" and a number of indistinct signatures, ht. 38 1/2, wd. 14 in. Not guaranteed in working order. Small chips and cracks to gilt molding throughout (some included). Small tears to painted paper dial. Some rubbing to gilt and areas where bole is showing through.
