Jacobean-style Oak Stool, 20th century, hinged top opening to compartment with chip-carved frieze, raised on splayed and turned legs joined by a box stretcher, all on turned feet, ht. 21, wd. 22, dp. 14 1/2 in. Replaced hinges, small chips to outer corners and feet, several scratched and horizontal indentations to top.
