Worcester Porcelain Blue Transfer-printed Mug, England, c. 1770-80, cylindrical, with La Peche and La Promenade pattern, crescent mark, ht. 5 in. Note: Illustrations taken from The Ladies' Amusement by J. June, sculptor. The original engraving was done by Hancock from illustrations from an engraving in 1758 by Canot after Jean Pillement. Top rim with a 1/4" chip along interior edge. No other cracks, chips or restorations.
