Two Stoneware Tree Stump-form Planters, Hartford, Connecticut, and Taunton, Massachusetts, late 19th century, one with molded vines on the sides, impressed "O. H. SEYMOUR HARTFORD"; the other with molded cut branches on the sides, impressed "F.T. WRIGHT & SON/TAUNTON, MASS" on base, (chips, cracks), ht. 6 7/8, 6 5/8 in., respectively. Seymour- few small shallow rim chips, several minor rim lines, approx. 7 in. crack around base does not go through to interior possibly firing crack with associated 1 in. shallow base edge chip; Wright- about 6 small shallow chips scattered on rim body and base.
