Carved and String-inlaid Cherry Serpentine Bureau, Connecticut, late 18th century, the molded top on conforming case of four graduated drawers flanked by quarter-columns, on ogee bracket feet on platforms and casters, with conformingly shaped returns, brasses appear to be original, old surface, (minor imperfections), ht. 35 1/2, case wd. 37 1/4, dp. 19 in. shrinkage crack in top, shrinkage crack in right side, some losses to stringing on quarter columns, missing one vertical glue block.
