Jean-Léon Gérôme (French, 1824-1904) Joueuse de boules , c. 1902 Signed "J.L. GEROME" within the cast l.c., foundry stamped "Siot Paris" l.r. and numbered "430B" on the reverse. Gilt bronze, 5 3/4 x 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 in. (13.7 x 5.7 x 3.8 cm), mounted to an onyx plinth. Condition: Very minor wear to patina.
