Erwin Blumenfeld (German, 1897-1969) Aubade , 1937-38, published in Coronet magazine. Annotated, titled, and signed "...Erwin Blumenfeld" in pencil beneath the image, Coronet stamp on the reverse. Gelatin silver print on paper, image size 9 1/4 x 7 3/8 in. (23.4 x 18.6 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Subtle silvering-out to edges of image. Literature: Coronet , volume 3, 1938, p. 147. There is gentle silvering out to the darks along the edge of the image. The sheet is affixed at 3 corners to the its paper mat, but is otherwise free.
