Josef Drapell (Canadian, b. 1940) Skink , 1971 Signed, dated, titled, and inscribed on the reverse, identified on a label from Robert Elkon Gallery, New York, affixed to the reverse. Acrylic on canvas, 85 x 20 1/8 in. (215.9 x 51.1 cm), framed. Condition: Surface grime. N. B. In his inscriptions on the reverse, the artist indicated two different possible orientations for the work, vertical or horizontal. The artist, however, preferred the vertical orientation. No additional condition issues to report.
