Condition: Subtle varnish inconsistencies, minor skinning, craquelure. Provenance: From the artist to the original owner, Florida; by family descent to the present owner. Abrasion or skinning to the signature preceding "...M. Cary" l.l. corner, craquelure primarily to areas of impasto in l.l. and l.r. quadrants; small loss to l.r. quadrant measuring approx. 1/8 x 1/8 in.; brighter blue paint in sky area does not fluoresce and appears consistent with other pigments under UV; no additional condition issues to report.
