Neil Welliver (American, 1929-2005) Maiden's Cliff /A Study , c. 1973 Unsigned. Gouache and graphite on Crescent illustration board, 20 x 20 in. (50.8 x 50.8 cm), framed. Condition: Taped to backing mat, minor smudges to the margins, tape residue to u.l. margin, pre-press notation in pencil to bottom margin. Provenance: Through the Harcus Gallery, Boston, c. 1995. N.B. The present work appears to have been a study for a screenprint of the same title in the series LANDSCAPES/A Portfolio of Six Works , 1973, edition of 144. No additional condition issues to report.
