Alex Katz (American, b. 1927) The Yellow House Signed and dated "Alex Katz 65" l.r. Oil on Masonite, 9 x 12 in. (22.9 x 30.5 cm), framed. Condition: Minor surface residue l.l. Provenance: A private Massachusetts collection. Glue residue to l.l. quadrant spanning approx. 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 in. at extreme height and width. The work is within a simple brown strip-mould frame (presumably original), which is then set within a larger red frame.
