Lighthouse Keeper's Diary. Kept by Sidney H. Garrison, of Peggy's Point, Nova Scotia, Canada, January to December, 1903, pre-printed journal created in an edition of 900 in 1901 for Canadian lightkeepers; a page for each month consists of a form where the lighthouse keeper can note the date, weather, time of lighting, extinguishing, the total burning time, and the amount of oil, chimneys and wicks used, along with general remarks, all twelve months have been completed, bound in original marbled paper wrappers with a label on the front; Garrison's remarks are very practical, although he does offer some critiques of his predecessor.
