Eliot, Thomas Stearns (1888-1965) Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats . New York: Harcourt Brace, [1939]. In gray cloth boards with orange dust jacket. In original printed orange dust jacket. The jacket is faded along the spine, and splitting, a small piece at the very top (with the word "Old" from the title) is completely detached. The binding is faded violet publisher's cloth, the spine is faded. The endleaves are evenly toned, and there is a gift inscription on the front free end leaf.
