Paul Spindler (French, 1907-1980) Three-panel Marquetry Floor Screen, c. 1950, skillfully inlaid in various figured and tinted veneers, depicting a hunting party armed with bows and spears racing through the woods after two elk, the figures in medieval-style clothing, with a castle in the distance, each panel joined by brass hinges, raised on two metal-mounted bracket feet, self-framed, inlaid signature to lower right corner "P.
