Seven Letter Openers, 20th century, two Reed & Barton pewter letter openers: one with a horse head and the other with a lion, each lg. 8; two with enameled handles: one with a floral-decorated enamel handle with a steel blade, lg. 7 5/8, and the other with a handle marked .900 silver with guilloche enamel and an ivory blade, lg. 8 5/8; another German with an imitation amber handle and marked .800 and .835 silver blade, lg. 9 3/4; the sixth with a Mauser sterling silver snake-decorated handle and bronze blade, lg. 7 1/2; and the last a silvered bronze of a female warrior with a flag incised "Mariton" and "FUMERE ET Cie PARIS," lg. 10 3/4 in.
