Micromosaic-inlaid Tunbridge Ware Tea Caddy, England, c. 1860, rectangular form with curved corners, the slightly domed hinged lid centered with inlaid micromosaic castle ruins scene, with a geometric border, the sides with a medial band of oak leaves and acorns, on bird's-eye figured wood veneer, rosewood veneer interior with two foil-lined compartments with similar figured covers and micromosaic borders, supported on bun feet, (imperfections), ht. 5 1/8, wd. 8 1/4, dp. 4 1/2 in.
