Evie Hone (Irish, 1894-1955) Two Passion of Christ Scenes: The Crucifixion and The Entombment Crucifixion signed "E. Hone" l.r., Entombment unsigned, both identified on labels from The Dawson Gallery, Dublin, Entombment inscribed "Original sketch for 'Stations of the Cross' at Kiltulla[gh] Athenry Co. Galway" on the reverse. Ink and graphite on paper, sight sizes 12 1/4 x 9 3/4 in. (31.1 x 24.8 cm), both framed. Condition: Not examined out of frames.
