Robbins, Tom (b. 1936) Another Roadside Attraction . New York: Doubleday, 1971. First edition of the author's first book, in the dust jacket, some slight chipping to jacket, filled in with magic marker, small sticker mostly in the blank margin top left of the portrait, text block shifting slightly, 8 1/8 x 5 1/4 in. Tom Robbins writes by beginning with the first sentence of his work, perfecting that sentence, and only then moving on to write the next one. He does not go back and revise or re-arrange his work, he proceeds.
