Attributed to Clinton Arrowood (American, 1939-1990) Caricature of a Bassoonist. Signed and dated "Arrowood 66" l.r. Ink and watercolor on paper, sight size 29 1/4 x 19 3/8 in., framed (under glass). Condition: Small repair or white spot to u.r., not examined out of frame. N.B. Clinton Arrowood was a musician and illustrator best known for his drawings of animals, especially for such books as Alligators and Music , Frogs and the Ballet , and Lambs' Tales from Great Operas , all written by Donald Elliott.
