Robert Chapman Turner (1913-2005) Pottery Vessel United States Funnel shape flaring at base in red brown glaze, ht. 9 7/8 in. Note: A Fellow of the American Craft Council and recipient of its highest honor, the Gold Medal, Turner was also a member of the International Academy of Ceramics. His work is found in the permanent collections at museums in Japan, New Zealand, as well as The Smithsonian, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
