Two Oil Paintings Depicting Landscapes, China, one with a covered bridge with people crossing, signed, painted on canvas, framed and mounted on decorative fabric, 13 3/4 x 17 3/8; the other with a riverbank with temples and figures, signed "Mei Chienying," painted on canvas and mounted in a decorative frame, 13 1/2 x 17 3/8 in. Provenance: From the former New England Center for Contemporary Art (NECCA) in Brooklyn, Connecticut. Sold to benefit the Temple Beth Israel and St. James Catholic Church, both of Danielson, Connecticut.
