Robert Heinrich Freiherr von Doblhoff (Austrian, 1880-1960) Portrait of Mrs. Albert Washburn. Signed and dated "Doblhoff Vienna 1924" l.r. Oil on canvas, 67 x 47 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Minor scattered paint loss, surface grime, craquelure, losses to frame, especially at l.l. and along edges, piece of wood from interior of frame detaching at bottom center. Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.
