Three Turkoman Items, West Turkestan, late 19th century, a Tekke chuval with six octagonal guls in shades of red, blue, and ivory, flanked by minor guls within a "gotshak" main border, ram's horn and "soldat" minor borders, staggered diamond patterned elem, 2 ft. 7 in. x 4 ft. 7 in., a Tekke Ak-chuval, with wine-colored and ivory horizontal bands displaying stepped diamonds, ivory "ashik" medallion patterned elem, silk highlights throughout, 2 ft. 7 in. x 3 ft. 9 in., and a Yomud Torba with a red-brown field, two "kepse" guls in blue-green, navy, red, and ivory flanked by half guls, within an ivory border, "running dog" minor border, empty elem, 1 ft. 5 in. x 3 ft. 4 in.
