Two Trophy Bowls from Connecticut Yacht Clubs, a Bridgeport Yacht Club floriform sterling silver bowl on five ball feet and with engraved inscription, "Bridgeport/ Yacht Club/ July 4th 1900/ Vice-Commodore's Cup/ Won by/ Kit," dia. 9 3/4, lacking maker's mark; and Derby Silver Co. silver plate New Haven Yacht Club trophy bowl, circular with two dragon-form handles and body cast with cloudwork design, on four ball feet, with engraved inscription, "New Haven Yacht Club/ Sixth Annual/ Spring Regatta/ June 24.-1887./ 1st Special/ Class D/ Won by Sloop Ceres," lg. handle over handle 10 in.; approx. 13.5 troy oz. weighable silver. N.B. Kit was a thirty-footer owned by Thomas H. MacDonald, commodore of the Bridgeport Yacht Club.
