Kuba "Shikli" Rug, Northeast Caucasus, early 20th century, the midnight blue field with an ivory stepped center medallion inset with stylized birds and enclosed by six large elongated arrowhead palmettes and polychrome stylized rosettes of varying sizes, four two-sided corners, all within an ivory bird in tile-patterned main border, multiple ribbon with diamond and reciprocal sawtooth-patterned minor borders, 5 ft. 7 in. x 4 ft.
