"Lenkoran" Karabagh Rug, South Caucasus, late 19th century, the field comprised of three large four-pronged medallions each inset with a hexagonal latch-hooked palmette in ivory, red, navy, and blue/green, with gold highlights, flanked by two rectangular animal-type medallions, on a chocolate brown field, within an ivory small-scale "crab" main border, 9 ft. 5 in. x 4 ft.
