Kerman Embroidered "Moon" Shawl, Southeast Persia, 19th century, the center medallion comprised of confronting bent-tip "boteh" and small flowerheads flanked and intersected by an allover design of interlacing vines, bent-tip "boteh", stylized trees, radial flowerheads, and leaves all on an apple green field, all within a wide red main border with similar design elements, large radial flower and interlacing vine minor border, polychrome lappets on two sides, 7 ft. 5 in. x 8 ft. 3 in.
