Verne Flatweave Embroidery, Southwest Caucasus, last quarter 19th century, comprised of an outer red, inner blue, and central red rectangle divided into squares inset with stylized double-headed animals and birds, within an ivory highly stylized eight-pointed star and leaf border, small-scale "crab" minor borders, 6 ft. 4 in. x 4 ft. 4 in.
