Pair of Staffordshire Figures on Horseback, England, early 19th century, each overglaze enamel decorated and modeled as military officers in parade garb, mounted atop stepped oval bases, (one with restorations to one of the horse's feet, reins, stirrup straps, both ears; the other restored to all of the horse's feet, an ear, part of the reins and stirrup straps, chip to base and plume to hat; parts of stirrups missing to each), ht. 9 3/4 in.
