Pair of English Sheffield plate matching serving dishes. Each dish with floriform fitted cover with recessed top for additional serving space that lifts off to reveal serving space within. Each dish with rounded leaf accented handles and raised on four squat acanthus leaf feet. Each vegetable serving dish marked on bottom "TURNER'S NEW BOND" with pictorial mark. Height 3", width (across handles) 12". Provenance: From the Collection of Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
