Etching depicting seven male scholars in Diderot's library intently listening to document being read. Framed 14.75" x 16.5". Unframed 11.25" x 13.125". Note: Denis Diderot was was a French philosopher, art critic and writer. In history, he is a rather prominent figure during the Enlightenment and is best known for serving as co-founder, chief editor and contributor to the Encyclopédie.
