Barton/Commander of the Steamship/Columbia/by the passengers of her trip/March 26th, 1864/from New Orleans and Havana/to New York"; a coin silver dish made by Edward Moore, with a wheat sheaf border on a stippled ground, dia. 10; and a sterling silver ewer made by Bogert, with engraved with foliate arabesques and flower sprays, with an acanthus-mounted and scrolled handle, ht. 15 1/2 in.; approx. 51.3 troy oz. total.
